BIOGRAPHY

Brad Bleier, an active community leader and five-year resident of El Dorado Hills, is an active member of the El Dorado Hills Rotary, and is the current president and a founding member of El Dorado Hills Community Vision. Community Vision was formed as a not-for-profit corporation to identify and obtain funding for community projects that benefit El Dorado Hills and its residents. Under Bleier's leadership, Community Visions is currently exploring the opportunity for more active recreational fields in El Dorado Hills and the potential for skate board parks.

Bleier, as an entrepreneur, founded and built Digital Communications, a local Internet Service Provider doing business as both Windjammer Internet and Deepwell Internet. Digital provides Internet service to residential customers, government, and small business.

Professionally, Bleier's legal practice primarily focusses on the representation of cities, counties and other local public entities. He also practices as a communications attorney and is a principal in The Bleier Law firm in Folsom. Since returning from military service, Brad has specialized in major civil litigation; public entity representation; telecommunications; environmental matters; and Internet and software development agreements while at the firm.

Prior to establishing roots in El Dorado Hills, Bleier served his country as an officer in the United States Navy serving as an attorney in the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAGC). He served as a trial counsel while stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. He then practiced as an appellate counsel before military courts in Washington, D.C..

Bleier was born in Michigan, but has been a northern California resident since the age of five. He received a law degree from McGeorge School of Law in 1991, and obtained his undergraduate degree in business economics and legal studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1988. Additionally, he studied English politics and history in Cambridge, England, international law at the Inns of Court in London, England, and attended Naval Justice School in Rhode Island.

Bleier resides in Fairchild Village in El Dorado Hills with his wife Mary and their three children, Katarina (4), Rachel (3) and Grace (18 months).
