Questions & Answers

1. What are your views regarding the need for public transportation in your community to promote access to employment throughout the region?

My opinion is that if we wanted to be like everyone else in the County we would be in favor Of expanding our public transportation, however Harrison is different and restricting that transportation will preserve that difference.

2. Would you be in favor of county-wide campaign finance regulations that would provide for public matching funds, limit campaign contributions and provide for more disclosure? State your opinions on these ideas; whether you would support or oppose them.

No, in my opinion that would just allow the professional politicians to rape the public trust, and spend more money than is necessary to run a campaign. It would also create some more bureaucrats, which we don't need.

3. What are the benefits/detriments to land use planning prior to zoning decisions?

I prefer to have projects decided on an individual basis rather than block zoning. I do feel that it is necessary to have a general set of land use guidelines in place to channel individual zoning decisions into a comprehensive plan.
