See below for questions on diversity, campaign finance, improvement of justice

Click on a name for other candidate information.

1. How would you promote diversity of law clerks, bailiffs and support staff, etc.?

Answer from William L. Mallory, Jr.:

"I keep and open mind and try to recognize talents in all people."

2. Would you be in favor of countywide campaign finance regulations that would provide for public matching funds, limit campaign contributions and provide for more disclosure? What do you think of these ideas and why would you support or oppose such measures?

Answer from William L. Mallory, Jr.:

Judges have limits regarding campaign contributions. I support them. Judges are also limited as to when they may raise contributions.

3. What single change in court polices and procedures would do the most to improve the administration of justice in Hamilton county?

Answer from William L. Mallory, Jr.:

Hamilton County has the same problem as other counties are experiencing regarding getting victims of domestic violence cases to appear in court. If we could develop better public awareness of how important these cases are, then we could better address cases of violence against family members.
