1. What are your views regarding the need for public transportation in your community to promote access to employment throughout the region?

Answer from Arthur Hackett, Jr.:

Public transportation is greatly needed. Because the number of cars are increasing on the roads each day. A safer and more accessible mode of transportation is indeed needed.

2. Would you be in favor of county-wide campaign finance regulations that would provide for public matching funds, limit campaign contributions and provide for more disclosure? State your opinions on these ideas; whether you would support or oppose them.

Answer from Arthur Hackett, Jr.:

Yes, I would support regulation for campaign reform. This would give everyone a fair chance to run for an office. I would also suport term limitations.

3. What are the benefits/detriments to land use planning prior to zoning decisions?

Answer from Arthur Hackett, Jr.:

The benefit to zoning is a city or community can keep the same or similar kinds of business in a certain area.
