Political Philosophy for Scott Taylor

Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Keyes Union School District

This information is provided by the candidate

For Keyes students, the transition to Turlock High School, is a huge step toward their future success. They must be prepared academically and emotionaly. I believe that parents and teachers must take this responisiblity seriously.

Providing up to date computers and current textbooks is one way we can prepare the students. Guidence counseling, drug and alchohol awareness and life skills are another. Offering sports, art, music and shop may lead to student enthusiasm and build self esteem.

There is no magic solution but I do think that the answer begins at home. We must take responsibility and become involved in our childrens education.
