Political Philosophy for Stan Sinclear

Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Ceres Unified School District; Area 1

This information is provided by the candidate

I truly believe Ceres has a school district to be proud of. The opportunities are almost unlimiited for students who wish to take advantage of them. The staff is dedicated and committed to student development and achievement. The district, through prudent management, is fiscally sound. The schools are well maintained and provide a variety of electives and programs as well as good learning environments for the students. Through diligent and aggressive persisitance, the district has built three new schools through the state building program which has negated the need for local bond elections. Virginia Parks, Sam Vaughn and Blaker Kinser are beautiful schools that provide wonderful learning environments for the children.

As a board member for almost twenty years, the decisions I have had to make have not always been easy or popular. What's best for the students has always been the focus of my efforts. I like to be prepared and hear both sides of an issue before making a decision. From my own education, business interests and community involvement, I believe you can't put enough emphasis on education. I believe my dedicated participation on the board of trustees has stongly contributed toward the success of the Ceres Unified School District. I would most sincerely like to continue to apply the experience I have gained over the years as a board member as well as the commitment I have for education to make Ceres an outstanding school district.
