Why I am Running For Mayor

I want to be Mayor because Modesto needs leadership for a change. I'm tired of the way we've done things in the past. The tough issues still need to be tackled.

Imagine our city with the leadership that can help solve the growing methamphetamine problem, bring factions together to reach job and education goals, and plan for and manage the growth anticipated in our Valley. That's what I see for Modesto.

I have a reputation for "getting things done" and for having the courage to work on the tough issues.

Modesto is a great place to live. I'm proud of our city, my contribution as a community volunteer and my dedicated service as a city council member for 8 years. With leadership for change, I believe Modesto can only get better.

I hope I can count on your vote for Mayor of Modesto.
