I have included my campaign statement to those that may like to konw a little about myself and my vision.I am running for the office of Mayor of Ceres because I am concerned about the following issues; police and fire protection, parks, inadequate water pressure, the need for commercial services on the westside, creation of jobs, a community center and elder care. My approach to success has always been to develop a consensus for a common goal. I have the vision, the health and the energy to lead our community into the next century. My beloved wife, Tammy and my three children ages 3 to 12 share my pride in the community. We have been involved with Don Pedro School Site Council and PTA, Tammy is the current President, the Ceres Street Faire and Ceres Partnership for Healthy Children. I have served as chairman of the Ceres Planning Commission, serving over six years, chair of the steering committee for the creation of the police canine unit, Chair of the Concerts in the Park Committee and a member of the Substance Abuse Committee. As a businessman and long time resident I hope to encourage citizen participation in the wonderful future of our great city. Together we achieve, I ask for your support. |
