My political philosophy is straightforward:

  • Study the facts
  • Listen to all sides
  • Ask the necessary questions
  • Make fair decisions, not based on ideology or personal bias

To that end, I believe in DOING ALL BUSINESS IN PUBLIC. The best government is community-driven, open government where all sides are heard and all decisions are made out in the open.

This means:

  • Minimizing special meetings and study sessions
  • Getting agenda information out to all interested parties, in plenty of time to attend meetings
  • Postponing decisions when all facts are not available
  • Televising our Council meetings, if financially feasible

I know Belmont and I know the issues that face us. I have a very positive approach to solving problems and creating new opportunities, and I have the necessary government and Belmont community involvement that will properly guide my decisions.
