My Background

I have lived in San Mateo County (with my husband) for almost ten years. I value education, and have taken numerous courses (after completing my Bachelor's degree) both from our local Community College District and from its competitor, the UC Extension System. I spent six years as an active Real Estate Broker on the Mid-Peninsula, and I understand how goverment actions and taxation can affect property values. I now manage the engineering/programming department of the five county real estate MLS. I understand the budgeting process and spending within that budget. I am also currently the treasurer for a county political organization. I plan to bring together my love of education and my responsibility to the taxpayers for the benefit of our great community colleges in San Mateo County.
