I was born and raised in San Bruno, and have lived here all my life. My husband and I are raising our three children here. I have a strong vested interest in what happens in my city.

I taught sixth and eighth grades for eight years.

My non-political volunteer work includes:

  • 22 years as American Red Cross Instructor
  • Vice-Chair, Carlton Corners Association (conduct fund raisers to aid local youth groups - Girl and Boy Scouts, school groups)
  • Past Board member, Art-Rise (arts and threater group)
  • Member, Friends of the Library (raise funds to purchase special books and equipment for City library)
  • Assistant librarian at school library

For the last four years I have served on a variety of county organizations as our City's representative:
  • Peninsula Partnership Foundation - Advisory Board Member
  • North County Health - Advisory Board Member
  • CCAG (City/County Association of Governments) - Board member
  • Vice-Chair, Joint Powers Board - Advanced Life Support (County wide paramedic program)
