My wife and I have been 23 year residents. Three of our four children experienced the advantage of living and attending schools in the unique environment of a "small" town. Currently we reside in downtown Half Moon Bay.

Our historic buildings must be saved without financial sacrifice. Our coastal plain and agricultural designated corridor is a unique resource of our community and cannot be compromised. I would strongly encourage cooperation of all citizens to improve our schools and protect our environment while respecting the gift received from the founding families of " Historic Spanish Town."

As a member of City Council, I would solicit support for controlled growth, revitalization of the downtown area, adequate police facilities, affordable housing, library expansion and senior center.

I believe controlled growth is not simply a number, but it is a method of community asset analysis and initiating the appropriate action to capitalize on a particular asset.

Without a concerted effort on behalf of all our citizens to improve our community, progress will stagnate and our resources will erode. Our children's inheritance of a beautiful coastal community will be relinquished.

I respectfully ask for your support.
