Booming economy, new sources of revenue, additional employment opportunities.
The booming economy has stimulated a great deal of private development. We've been working to ensure that the new projects enhance our community without detracting from our small town charm. New development will bring additional revenue with which we can provide you better services and programs. A hotel is being built at Sierra Point, and will open next summer, and a second hotel was approved by the Planning Commission. An eight-story office building will be completed in December of this year. The Brisbane Technology Park at Guadalupe and Bayshore is under construction and will be ready for occupancy next year. In addition to providing new revenue, these projects will provide new jobs for Brisbane residents.
