  • Secure the Districts Financial Position
  • Hire a Superindendant that provides leadership to staff and community
  • Improve the quality of the programs we are now delivering
Michael D. Barber
  • Occupation: Accountant
  • Certified Public Accountant (CA)
  • BA, History - U.C. Berkeley
  • Member of the San Mateo County Transportation Citizens Advisory Committee
  • Served as an officer in the US Army for six years
Priorities:
  • I will work to stabilize the financial situation of the School District by using my experience as auditor and accountant.
  • I will work to increase and improve the morale of the teachers, staff and parents, because they are vital to the success of our schools.
  • I will strive to maintain and improve the high standards of our schools. All students must be given the opportunity to excel.
