Political Philosophy for Kim Kuebler

Candidate for
Director; Burbank Sanitary District

This information is provided by the candidate

I am running as an incumbent having served on the Burbank Sanitary Board since 1995. I am financially conservative. I believe that spending your money for the better of the District is a serious responsibility.

The District is currently working on a project that will improve the conditions of our sewer lines. The District has had the sewer lines video taped in order for the Engineer to make recommendations to the Board for improvements. We are currently looking into different methods in order to replace some of the pipelines. This phase will require active participation by its board members.

I was a key player in negotiating a multi-year contract with Green Valley. The contract included the stipulation that the garbage hauler would pay for the yearly District Clean-Up (with a limit, of course). Thousands of dollars in savings to the District.

When the past Secretary/Treasurer left the District in 1997 I took over the duties as a volunteer, saving the District thousands of dollars, and still serve as a volunteer to this day.
