A City Council with Diversity of Opinion

By Richard B. Oakley

Candidate for Council Member; Proposed City of Rancho Santa Margarita

This information is provided by the candidate
I believe RSM needs a new City Council that will bring new vision, new management and new ideas to our city government
Until now, the citizens of RSM have had little say in the operation of their city. After the voters approve cityhood, we will then have the ability, through our new City Council, to control our own destiny at the county, state and Federal levels.

With that control comes the opportunity to infuse new management, new ideas, new vision and diversity of opinion into our city and its government.

We need a fresh look at how things are to be done in our city. We need to ensure that ALL of the issues are examined before we act, or ask the citizens of RSM to act.

We need individual City Council members and community leaders that are free from partisan politics, free from outside influences and have only to answer to the CITIZENS of Rancho Santa Margarita.

I have 30 YEARS of business and management experience. This experience allows me to bring seasoned management skills to the new City Council.

I will represent the CITIZENS of Rancho Santa Margarita on the NEW City Council.
