Nancy is a licensed Architect and Planning Consultant, who operates her own small business and specializes in design review and historic preservation--two key issues in Mill Valley today. Among her past and present clients are the cities of Palo Alto, Vallejo, Benecia, Hayward, San Mateo, Oakland, Sunnyvale and Danville. She also advises the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the California Office of Historic Preservation's CLG Grant Progam.

Nancy and her husband, Craig Corbitt, an antitrust lawyer, have lived on Alvarado Avenue, near Park School and Boyle Park, for over 14 years. Nancy and Craig's daughter Caroline is in the Seventh Grade at Park School. They are members of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish.

Nancy served on the Mill Valley Planning Commission from 1996-98, served on the Park School Site Council, was the former Chair of the Park School Traffic Safety Committee, and served on the Park School Building Renovation Committee. Nancy also chaired the Concerned Citizens' Task Force on Planning Issues.
