Re-Elect Judith Hodgens

By Judith K. Hodgens

Candidate for Member, Town Council; Town of San Anselmo

This information is provided by the candidate
As the only woman running for a seat on the Council , I know that I have the experience, enthusiasm and integrity to be an effective decision maker for the Town.
During my 5 years as a Council member, we have successfully implemented Measure G infrastructure improvements, acquired 55 acres of Bald Hill and Hawthorne Canyon Open Space, and designed and funded the San Anselmo 2000 downtown plan. We've renovated the library and historical museum, completed The Sorich Park Plan, made Town Hall accessible to persons with disabilities, and put emergency radio station 1610 on the air.

I have developed a deep knowledge base of Town administrative and management issues, and have spent hundreds of hours with individuals, in meetings, community events and celebrations. I have learned to listen more and say less, and to set aside personal position for the good of the whole.

My 25 years of experience as a non-profit executive has provided me with the leadership skills to be an effective community problem solver and decision-maker. If re-elected, I will dedicate my efforts to assuring that San Anselmo continues to be the Town we love to call home.
