Education & Experience:

Paul grew up in Marin County and graduated from Tamalpais High School in 1974. He graduated with High Honors from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania in 1979 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

Paul is President of Carpenters Local 35 in San Rafael and is on the administrative staff of the Northern California Carpenters Regional Council. His responsibilities include communications, Public Policy analysis and managing Information Technology.

Paul, his wife Nancy, and their two daughters live in the Sun Valley neighborhood of San Rafael.
