Areas of concern to be addressed by the incoming Board
- Stimulate a sense of community ownership and participation in our school system
- Encourage and fortify a consistent and conscious parent participation in our children's educational process
- Develop and implement a successful building schedule for Gabrielino High School
- Seek out and utilize appropriate funding mechanisms to meet the facilities needs for our students as outlined in the community based SGUSD Facilities Master Plan
- Determine ways to better engage low achieving students in a successful learning experience
- Continue to strengthen and advocate English language acquisition for limited English and non-English speaking students
