GOALS AND OBJECTIVES FOR OUR SCHOOL DISTRICT

Good teachers in the classrooms are at the heart of a quality education. It is crucial we attract, hire, and keep, the finest teachers. In light of the growing teacher shortage, we may have to have an even stronger recruiting program to attract the finest candidates.

Maintain high academic standards and provide a challenging curriculum for every student, preparing our students for the workplace as well as for college.

Encourage parents to be informed about and involved with their child's education.

Offer academic and career counseling services at levels that meet the diverse needs of our students.

Provide a safe campus environment.

Accelerate the integration of technology into the classroom by providing training to upgrade teachers' skills in computer use.

Lobby our State legislators for a permanent source of funding for education and for local control.

Develop a partnership between all the stakeholders in the District: parents, teachers, students, administrators, board members, business leaders and the community.
