Dear Friends:

We urge you to join our campaign to reelect Meredith Reynolds to the LCUSD Governing Board. Meredith has proven herself to be a thoughtful, extremely hardworking, and valuable member of the Governing Board. Throughout her tenure on the Board she has demonstrated great personal integrity and courage, the courage to ask the hard questions. We need her continued service on our behalf.

Meredith and her family have always been committed to our community. While busy raising three children, all still in our LC schools, Meredith has been an active member of Assistance League of Flintridge, president of the LCF Educational Foundation, and three-time chair of the LCF Parks and Recreation Commission. Her husband, Tom, is serving his fifth year as Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 507.

During Meredith's tenure on the Board, we have seen class sizes reduced, a first-time-ever Master Facilities Plan, modernization of our schools, and construction of new classrooms at the elementary and 7/8 levels. She has raised to even higher levels the District's commitment to improved classroom instruction. Meredith also continues to encourage parent/community/school district partnerships while serving as a Board representative to the City Council/School District Joint Use Committee.

Meredith Reynolds is just the kind of dedicated leader we need. Her broad experience is the basis for the positive, independent leadership she represents! Let's work together to keep her right where she is: working hard for the students and families of La Canada Unified School District.
