Why I Am A Candidate For This Office
A. There is a need for experienced leadership on the school board because of the resigination of two members.

B. I believe I have the experience and background for this position because I bring over 36 years of experience in the field of education both as an elementary teacher and a site administrator.

C. I have been an administrator at the elementary and middle school levels; I have been directly involved in the upgrading of a 50-year-old school to meet the current standards demanded by the state for students' safety, served on a negotiations panel in the district where I was employed and I believe I have the ability to listen to concerns from the various aspects of the community and attempt to resolve them in a positive way.

D. I also have a concern for the welfare of the students for the future. The Board is perhaps facing some crucial decisions that will have a great impact in the community for years to come. I will always look at the issues presented in terms of what is best for our children.
