Married 21 years. 12 year resident of Lafayette. Mother of two children in the public schools. Volunteer in local schools for last 11 years. Past president of Lafayette School PTA. Volunteer for 1992 & 1998 parcel tax and 1995 school bond campaigns. Served on District Facilities and Professional Development Committees prior to joining Governing Board. As Governing Board trustee: Board president 1997-98. District Negotiations committee 5 years. Technology committee. Facilities committees at all sites. Professional Development committee. Library Vision 2000 committee. Additional community work includes: Board member Acalanes Parent Club. Board member county-wide PTA. Steering Committee EASTBAY Learns.
