CAPP INITIATIVE WILL BE A DETRIMENT TO SAN RAMON

By William "Bill" Meine

Candidate for Council Member; City of San Ramon

This information is provided by the candidate
Developers will not start a project if a vote is required for final approval.
Measure F (CAPP Initiative) does not address the long term planning of the city development. It allows the process of development to be handled as it is now being done through the Planning Board and the City Council and then gives the public the opportunity to vote it in or not. Developers will not put out the necessary expenses to plan a development and then have only a fifty percent chance of approval, with no recourse for continuing negotiations for a satisfactory concluding result. A yes vote for measure G is the proper vote, GO FOR G!
