PERSONAL INFORMATION

I am a 35-year-old stay-at-home mom of two HUSD students. A resident of Hayward for 29 years, I am a 1982 graduate of Mt. Eden High School.

EXPERIENCE

I have served on the HUSD Reconfiguration Task Force, Eden Gardens School Site Council, Eden Gardens Site Based Decision-Making Team, Eden Gardens PTA (as President, Treasurer, and Chairperson for various PTA-sponsored events).

I implemented and taught Family Math at Eden Gardens Elementary School for two years. I have also been a participant in the Eden Gardens Elementary School Rolling Readers Program.

I was one of the founding members of CPR (Concerned Parents Revolt), which effectively stopped the closure of schools in 1995.
