Promotion of Retail and Dining

By Cathie Brown

Candidate for Mayor; City of Livermore

This information is provided by the candidate
We are enjoying the highest sales tax revenues in recent history to benefit our City.
Cathie has promoted economic development along I-580 to increase our sales tax base. Furthermore, Cathie promotes an economically healthy City with regional shopping and downtown revitalization. Consumers enjoy fine dining and retail stores throughout neighborhoods in our City, and we benefit from their quality of life appeal. Our tax base increases have enabled us to expand City services.

Cathie supports the Livermore Valley Center project, which will bring a European style hotel, a conference center and additional retail to downtown Livermore. She has worked hard to relocate Highway 84 from First Street to Isabel Expressway to alleviate our downtown from commuter traffic.
