Full Biography for James Reesor

Candidate for
Mayor

This information is provided by the candidate

DATE OF BIRTH: 11/2/38

PLACE OF BIRTH: Herbert, Saskatchewan, Southern Canada. A Canadian father and an American mother resulted in a dual citizenship until age 18 -- at which time full American citizenship was my choice.
FORMAL EDUCATION: None claimed. A formal education does not a genius or mayor make. If university degrees assured superiority of though or behavior, we could give government Personnel Directors the responsibility of selecting public servants -- thereby saving candidates and special interest groups the time, expense and trouble of giving jobs to the highest bidder.
Maybe its time for someone with innate intelligence and/or intuitive nature to lead wayward educated experts bact to common sense. Human experience will be teaching the lessons of life long after institutions like Harvard or Vanderbilt cease to validate knowledge seekers who want to become mayor of Nashville.
In addition to endorsing Cyrus Booker for vice mayor, which is indicative of my desire to treat superior people with equal respect and attention, I would create the Metro Mayor's Club in order to have consultation opportunities with others who are more intelligent and more knowledgeable.
A dentist, lawyer, teacher, engineer, farmer, truck driver or flower artist would manifest governing styles differently. What is the criteria for leadership in the new century? Do voters want more of what we've had in the past?
HOBBIES: Breathing, eating, walking, thinking, reading, talking, doing things to make my wife Melissa laugh -- such as flirting with pretty girls, playing with my 4 yer-old son Harrison, writing manuscripts and playing chess.
PUBLIC SERVICE EXPERIENCE: None and proud of it!
