Bill Purcell's plan for bringing the best to our schools includes:

  • Smaller classes and more teachers
  • More resources and technology in the classroom
  • Family Resource Centers in every school to link children and their families with existing community resources
  • Keeping schools safe by stopping school violence before it starts with early intervention to help troubled kids
  • Demanding that the best management practices be brought to our school system
