Full Biography for Jessie D. McDonald

Candidate for
Mayor

I am originally from Mobile, Alabama. My father was killed on his job when I was seven yaers old and my mother was a single parent and raised two daughters Judy and Jeannette (Deceased) and me.
I attended Williamson High School in Mobile, Alabama, but graduated from Central High. I was the first member of my immediate family to attend and graduate from high school and the only one to attend and graduate from college.
I was married for fifteen years and raised three sons. I had one son prior to marriage in another relationship, and two daughters after marriage, all which are fully grown at this time.
I have worked most of my life as a radio announcer and electronics engineer, as a primary source of employment. However, I have worked over thirty three years as a part-time cab driver, which I love because it gave me the opportunity to meet people, who I would never had the opportunity to meet. In fact, I can say that I had the opportunity to give Shelby (Reba McIntire's son) his first taxicab ride, when they resided near Brentwood,Tennessee. Other people that I had the opportunity to meet was, T.G. Shepard, June Carter Cash, Ray Charles, Wayland Jennings, Bobby Womack, Brandy, Lee Greenwood, and many others who I have forgotten.

My hobby is table billards(pool),which I try to play at least four hours every day.
