This subject was brought in one of my classes at Tennessee State University, when a doctoral student informed me that he had been arrested in his younger years for having possession of marijuana, which is still on his record as a felony crime.
- AFFIRMATIVE ACTION

I do not believe that the Constitution was intended to allow the affirmation action policy to apply unevenly, with respect to a particular race or color. in fact, the affirmative action policy is telling black people that they are not equal and cannot compete evenly with any race of people, especially the members of the white race.
- OVERT DISCRIMINATION

There are overt forms of discrimination that is applied to individuals who pay equal taxes, but are denied certain opportunities that are allowed to other individuals, based solely on social prejudices, which are not related to color and race, but are connected directly to physical disabilities and sexual preferances and these people are excluded from active employment in the local governments.
