As a candidate for justice to the Ohio Supreme Court I feel that I have a duty not to advance a political philosophy other than to pledge to behave in a manner that upholds the faithful and impartial performance of the duties of associate justice.

In regards to judicial philosophy, I believe in the importance of judicial restraint, and if elected, will establish my role as a justice that interprets the law and does not create law.
