There is one universal expectation that is shared by anyone who appears in a court of Ohio: that regardless of one's race, gender, age status in a case or other such factors, his or her case will be decided upon the facts and the law applicable to the facts. That is the foundation of the American system of justice and it must be the guiding principle of every judge.
