SUSAN MARIE WEBER

Susan Marie Weber came to California in 1967 from New Mexico, where she had attended University of New Mexico, majoring in Education. Susan holds an A.A. degree in Business from College of the Desert, and a B.S. degree in Business Administration/Computers from California State University, San Bernardino.

Susan has long been involved in the business community. In 1972 she, and her former husband, owned and operated the Corvina Marina, a small beer bar, fishing pier, and boat launch, on the once-thriving Salton Sea. Starting in 1980, Susan started, and continues to run, her Accounting Business, serving numerous business' and organizations throughout the Coachella Valley.

In 1978, Susan first learned about the newly formed Libertarian party. The Statement of Principles embodied her personal beliefs, and she immediately changed her voter registration from Independent to Libertarian. Susan has worked for the campaigns of Jerry Gentry, and Bonnie Flickinger, who is now a councilwoman for the City of Moreno Valley.

Community involvement is also no stranger to Susan Marie Weber. Between 1987 and 1994, Susan was involved with the Palm Desert High School Foundation, serving as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors. Susan has also been appointed to various positions on the board of the non-profit organization she supports. She continues to be active with Toastmasters, Soroptimists, Palm Desert and Indio Chambers of Commerce, and Profit Seekers Investment Club. When Susan has a few moments, while not involved in the community, she enjoys visiting with one of her several god-children.
