Candidate for United States Representative; District 15

To create ideal citizens at home with all fields of knowledge and able to achieve whatever they desire while enriching society is the real goal of education. The Natural Law Party has the vision and resources to realize this possibility.
A strong Democracy demands an educated public to decide its' future and defend both individual and collective rights. Educated citizens contribute most to society, enriching cultural and economic life by creative problem resolution.
Even though we Americans spend more per student than any other country, there are some troubling problems with edcation today.
The United States ranks amoung the lowest in test scores in math and science in the world. Over 20 per cent of our high school students drop out, the highest in any industrialized nation. Violent crime in schools is a constant threat and alcohaol and drugs are a serious problem. A large percentage of our students who graduate are not prepared academically for higher education or skilled to enter the work force. The Natural Law Party is prepared to reverse this present situation. Our programs bring the full development of the mind, body, and behavior to students. We have proven educational programs that directly increase intelligence and creativity while simultaneously improving moral reasoning.
Our youth is our most precious possesion. We need to fully fund Head Start programs and Pell grants, to ensure early excellence and continued support for our students. We should also establish higher standards and lengthen the school year with greater emphasis on math and science.
We should provide a reasonable living for our teachers and guarentee that they are equipped with the latest knowledge and materials available. The faculty of no school should face the threat of violence, and teachers should have the respect and dignity that assures the free flow of knowledge.
National apprentice programs should integrate business, labor and educational leaders to ensure skills to those not collage bound.
The natural Law Party is the Education Party. We will raise the standards of education and provide the means to meet these expectations. Our programs will make education relevant and inspiring, encouraging our scholars to discover, and implement even more profound understanding of the natural laws of physics, chemistry, biology, and sociology.
This deeper, scientific expansion of knowledge of the laws of nature at every level of life will drive a more powerful economy, integrating our society towards the ideal envisioned by our founding fathers.
