The Democrats and Republicans have divided the American people into ideologies: liberal, moderate, conservative. I believe that we must move beyond those traditional labels which the politicians use to divide us.

My political philosopy is that I believe we must break the stranglehold of the democratic and republican parties on public policy. Electing an independent as Lt. Governor will change the chemistry of state government. Imagine having an independent at the highest levels of state government who can hold the politicians accountable. Electing Jim Mangia is the next step towards political reform and breaking the cycle of the two party monopoly.

In their efforts to get re-elected, the career politicians of the two major parties have played Californians against each other, cynically manipulating our differences. In contrast, I believe the California's diversity is one of our greatest strenghts. The Reform Party and my campaign for Lt. Governor are working to bring diverse Americans together to restore democracy and accountability to our government!
