Full Biography for Dean Florez

Candidate for
Member of the State Assembly; District 30

Four four generations, the Florez family attended our local schools, worked in our fields and factories, contributed to our community, and raised their children here. Dean's great-grandparents moved to the Valley in the late 1800s, living in little more than a tent. A century later, their great-grandson - through hard work and determination - graduated from Harvard Business School. Living in Shafter with his wife Elsa and Sean was an easy decision for Dean - his family has lived in the Valley for more than a century. It has always been home to him. His roots are deep in the community and he knows that this is a place where kids are raised right.
