Candidate, Ravenswood School Board

By Kimberly Sue "Kim" Turner

Candidate for Board Member; Ravenswood City Elementary School District

This information is provided by the candidate
My purpose for running for the School Board is short and simple. I care about the Education for not only "My Children, but also "Your Children". I have worked within the School District as a Child Development Teachers Asst. for many Years. My achievement will be, Fewer Children in the Classrooms, Higher Grade Point averages for better acceptances into Great Colleges, coming out of the City of East Palo Alto.
One of my reasons for becoming a Child Development Teachers Asst. in the 1st place was because, I felt that I could give the children the patience and the understanding they as children deserved. Young, yet old enough and very educated to the facts and issues within the Ravenswood School District. I would like to be more involved in the Education decisions that affect the success of our children. I feel that I can make a difference and request the opportunity to prove this to be a Fact. I invite you all to call me on every statement to which I make, and would like to recieve your ideas and concerns openly. We are all in this together.
