  • **For those of you who enjoy local history and folklore, I am also a graduate of the now defunct, formerly prestigious, Palo Alto Military Academy (PAMA)...First Sergeant Earl Testy, Class of '69, at your service! The Academy was sold and torn down in 1972 along with the Republic of Vietnam. Only two tall palms remain along Parkinson Ave. as a memento mori (across the street from the former home of Commandant Howard Nichols who is now President of the Harker School of San Jose).

GOD SPEED, JOHN GLENN! AD 29 Oct 1998.

  • **Academy update***I just visited the old (1893) Academy property. They've uprooted one of the palm trees to build a new home! ..."Preserve your memories; they're all that's left you".

Come on! Let's all get TESTY!
