resident on the coast since 1964 long history of volunteer work
I have lived on the coast since 1964 and have volunteered my time to the community since I was eighteen years old.

I started my volunteer work as a youth counselor at our Church. I have had three children in the schools since 1981 and have volunteered as an aid in the classrooms, tutored math classes at the High School, was on the executive board of the PTA at Cunha, chaired the Cunha Site Council, drove to field trips, organized assemblies, drove our High School Girls Basketball Team to games, coached a basketball team for CYO, participated in the many fund raisers for the schools.

I am presently on the Executive Committee for the Coastside Collaborative for Children, Youth and Families, which is an organization that serves our youth by coordination of many different agencies and community leaders. Healthy Start at Hatch elementary school is one of our projects.

I also represent our district on the San Mateo School Board Association and am your present Cabrillo Unified School District Board Member.
