Candidate Statement

By Marc Stephen Manuel

Candidate for Member, Board of Directors; Sequoia Hospital District

This information is provided by the candidate
MARC STEPHEN MANUEL Age: 32 Occupation: Software Sales Account Manager

As a Sequoia District Board of Director over the past 2 years, I have worked with my colleagues to ensure that Sequoia Hospital continues to provide much needed quality healthcare to our community. My number one goal is to make sure that taxpayers' dollars from the assessment district and monies received from the Catholic Healthcare West affiliation be spent wisely and efficiently to improve the health and wellness for all members in the District.

I was raised in Redwood City. After graduating from UCLA, I have worked as a congressional assistant in Washington, DC, and locally as a legislative aide for a State Senator and Assemblyman, often working on healthcare issues. Now in high tech sales, I continue to be a community volunteer working with the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Sequoia Awards and Redwood City 2000, to name a few.

My top priorities will be:  Women's Health  Heartcare  Child Immunization.

I respectfully ask for your vote so that I may continue serving you.
