  • "FAMILIES ON TRACK" - I have worked on the committee for this program since the very beginning. Our team worked hard to research similar programs, receive grant funding and to gain approval for this program. "Families on Track" is a program to benefit students and families of limited means. It will emphasize the importance of parental involvement in education, promote constructive communication between home and school, and provide educational opportunities beyond the classroom. I am currently serving on the Criteria, Implementation, and Outreach Committees for "Families on Track."

  • "THE LEARNING CENTER" - this is another program I am excited to be a part of. It is a service of the South San Francisco Public Library and will offer tutoring and classes to our young people and adults to improve their basic, work-related, and parenting skills.

  • Currently serving on the ArtRise Theatre Board of Directors.

  • Co-founder of Sur San Francisco Unidos.
