This information is provided by the candidate

Don Wolfe believes that our democracy is sustained when citizens participate in the political process. A strong education opportunity is key to that success.

There are many means and choices to do so in our free society. Make yourself knowledgable about the issues that are of interest to you, be they local or national.

Then take the opportunity to communicate with your your officials and make known your position. It is my experience that they WILL listen and you do have an impact.

Further, you may wish to volunteer to serve on commissions, boards and taskforces that are of interest to you. Such as:

Planning Commission
Library Commission
Historic Preservation Commission
Public Safety Commission
Youth Commission
Parks and Recreation Commission
Business Development group

School related organizations will gladly welcome your interest and help.

Your may choose to offer yourself in public service to your community as an elected official. By all means, get in the race and participate.

And of course, vote.

Please feel free to contact me, Don Wolfe, for information on how to get involved in your community. I'm at (408) 867-4986
