Statement of Nick Streit, Candidate for City Council, City of Saratoga

Occupation: Partner, Certified Public Accounting Firm

As a father of two children, ages 5 and 2, it is my pledge to the citizens of Saratoga to maintain Saratoga's family residential appeal and it's rural character. The future of Saratoga depends on good fiscal responsibility by its Council with balanced budgets and revenue optimization. I believe if we maximize the revenue from our existing commercial base, we can have clean parks, playgrounds, sports fields for our kids, economically feasible Parks and Recreation programs, drug free, safe schools and streets, and clean and well maintained streets. With my experience and education in accounting, I plan to guide the fiscal responsibility of the Saratoga Council into the 21st Century.

My pledge to the Citizens of Saratoga

· Fiscally Responsible Budgets · Rural Family Atmosphere · Clean Parks, playgrounds and sports fields for our children · Economically feasible Parks and Recreation programs · Drug Free Schools and Streets · Viable Business Community · Streets Clean and Well Maintained · Senior Services
