I love our Town of Los Altos Hills. During my business career there was no time to give back to the town that has given so much to me. Now that I am retired, I have the time to serve our community. I am willing to give of my time and talents to make this wonderful town even better. I am not a politician, only a citizen willing to serve.

I firmly believe that all City Council members should bring a high degree of open-mindedness, and a willingness to listen to all sides of an issue. They must bring objectivity and freedom from special interests so that they can make decisions for the good of the whole town. With "property rights" now being a major issue, each Council member must remember that these property rights are bilateral. That is, both the applicant/builder and the applicant's neighbors have equal property rights. Both must be protected.

I am a strong supporter of constructive change. I am not willing to be satisfied with the status quo. I will work to improve our town, but change must be carefully managed lest we damage a part of our wonderful lifestyle that we hold so dear.
