Political Philosophy for Catherine L. "Cathy" Knipe

Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District

As a school board member, I will maintain an ongoing effort to improve communication between schools and parents. I see my role as both trustee and ambassador and want to be available for anyone in the district with a concern, so that the district is seen as an environment where the community is involved. By example, I hope to encourage the district to work with parents and other members of the community and effectively address and resolve concerns.

With my years of experience in management I have routinely helped groups reach consensus. As a Parks and Recreation Commissioner my track record shows I am responsive to the needs of the entire community.
