Tanya Freudenberger has been on the frontline as a VOLUNTEER at Linda Vista Elementary School and Joseph George Middle School, acting as a fund raiser, a reading tutor to fifth graders, and an organizer of the upgrade to the George library. She also performed volunteer work in the Milpitas Unified School District as well as serving on a committee that developed a mission statement and vision for the Milpitas district. She has dedicated time to the Alum Rock District Jazz Band and has been a team mom in the Alum Rock Little League. She also worked for two years as a volunteer at the Sacred Heart Community Services Center on First Street in San Jose.

During these activities, Tanya has demonstrated her CARING and COMPASSIONATE nature, encouraging students, parents, teachers, and co-workers with her BOUNDLESS ENERGY.

Previously, Tanya served as an executive secretary and personnel director during her working career and owned and operated two retail outlets from 1988 through 1995.
