I plan to continue to serve the Citizens of the Sierra College District by increasing educational opprtunities on the Rocklin Campus, the Nevada County Campus, in Truckee, Lincoln, Roseville and other communities sites. I will work toward maintaining a balanced budget to allow for growth and maintainance of existing facilities and equipment. I will work with the governance system of the college to create innovative programs that meet the need of students wishing to transfer to 4 year colleges as well as the vocational programs that lead directly to employment. I will continue to encourage partnerships with Business and Industry as well as with our local High Schools and 4 year colleges. I will work with Legislators to ensure stable funding for Community colleges.
