Political Philosophy for James R. "Jim" McGowan

Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Folsom Cordova Unified School District

The main reason for my candidacy is that I want to contribute to the education of all children of the Folsom Cordova Unified School District (FCUSD) by drawing on my background in the arts, finance, as a parent, and dedication to community service. I am, by nature, a family man that recognizes that family does not end outside the front door, but extends into the community and the school district. With that perspective, I believe we will maintain an environment that will serve our children well as we strive to provide them with the best education we can, one that will serve them well as adults and those who live in their community.
