I believe in the District's mission to ‘provide an environment that enables all learners to reach their individual potentials'. To achieve this, I feel the following components are vital to the District's continued success:

- Use of State and District assessments and standards, as well as teacher evaluation of student performance.

- Integration of the Arts into the curriculum while maintaining a clear focus on student mastery of basic skills.

- Expanded use of technology to ensure (our) students' ability to be competitive in a global market economy.

- Commitment to providing environments suitable for learning: safe, clean, drug-free schools.

If elected, I promise to serve faithfully to the best of my ability, and to listen to your concerns.
